Chinese New Year Day 2!

24 Jan

Painted my toe nails too! =)
Can see can see?

Visited Baobao’s Aunt house in the noon and started gambling again. HAHAHAH!!
Then off to Queena’s place, mahjong and K! It’s really super convenient to have the karaoke systems in the house with such a big screen. Watch movie also shiok. haha.
Lastly, to TianTian’s house for a short visit and gambling again.
That’s what most people do during new year. Everywhere we go, we gamble=)

The only bad thing is that, the adults are having fun themselves.
I was so hoping to have a big adults+teenagers’ gambling when I knew that we would be going to Tiantian’s house.

Back to work tomorrow. Eeeek…
Why there’s no 1 week shut down for my company….

Oh, by the way, I learnt a new gambling card game when I was a his grandma house! =) It’s easy and interesting =) Just taught Mummy and she said that we can play that next time. HAHA!

Happy Chinese New Year 2012

23 Jan

It’s a different CNY this time because I have Baobao =D
Shall show you guys my nail colours tomorrow.
First destination as usual: Ah Ma house!
Pretty Kelly becoming not as violent as she used to be already.

Then to grandma house, with Baobao joining us! =D

The two little cute and funny kids who always wants to be carried by their mother and the poor mother is able to carry only one kid at a time.

Lele.

Qiqi, Ms Blur, as in her expression/look.
She can just stare at you or somthing with her mouth wide open and just remain like that for maybe 5 mins even when you are talking to her. HAHAHA!! super cute.

Following Baobao to his grandma house next.
They were really high, especially the moment they saw us. HAHAHA!!
Gambled and gambled. Ate a little before moving on to the last destination, Sweetie’s grandma house, 1 of the places we gather during CNY=)

Gambling again all the way til 10 plus when everyone started to leave. The adults were leaving for their overnight mahjong whereas the kids/teenagers headed back home.

Great CNY Day 1! A different one=)
Just realised that I didnt not eat much of the goodies. HA!

Chinese New Year Eve! IX month!

22 Jan

I guess most people saw rainbows yesterday. I saw it too.
at Bukit Batok, then a full rainbow at Queenstown station=) but I did not get to take a picture of it.

It’s a happy and bad IX-month day.
Glad that everything is still fine in the end=)

Xcited and looking forward to tomorrow!
Are you are you?!?!?! =D

Reunion of Dasers on CNY Eve Eve=)

21 Jan

Shaun’s family got a bungalow at Pasir Ris.
It’s REALLY BIG!

BBQ Dinner!
All the food were marinated by his aunt and they’re really nice.
Their drinks are special too. Instead of just a normal fruit punch, they added soda to make it more gassy. Instead of just orange juice, they added beer and it tastes really nice.

Baobao came to join later.
Mahjong-ed and Drinking time! I guess everyone’s not in the mood to drink maybe they were tired. HA! Baobao, Jerome and his gf went to bed first while the rest of us stayed in the KTV room to drink. Played a little and some of us went to bed. It was damn funny when no vulgarities and no singlish rules were set! When there’s dasers, there sure will be LOTS of vulgarities and singlish!

Estee, Arif, Jason and Shaun started mahjong-ing again since Arif was kinda addicted. HAHAHA!!

We were really well-served by Shaun’s mother. She even made us otah bread breakfast, scrambled eggs with bread and hot chocolate!

Happy Reunion with Dasers! =)

Jurong West Hawker Centre

19 Jan

It’s voted as the best hawker centre in Singapore according to ladyironchef , one of my favourite food blogs. I dont know how to comment of food, I just like to enjoy good and affordable food. Basically most of the food I’ve blogged are the food I read from my favourite food blogs. =)

It’s located just a few stops away from my secondary school and I did not even went to try before! I didnt know how to appreciate and wasnt interested in good and cheap food back then although I have a big appetite.

One of the famous stalls: Fish Porridge.
The queue was really long and while queuing, I heard lots of good comments from the people queuing. “Their fish very fresh”, “This stall is better than the stall further down.”…
Got myself Fish Slice Bee Hoon=)

They have Chinatown’s Claypot Rice too and I got one=)
It’s one of the famous stalls too. Of course! Chinatown’s Cloaypot Rice leh. The meat softness is just nice=D Love it.

Shall go there again and try the other famous stalls=D

Happy Birthday Sweetie

18 Jan

1 week after my birthday, it’s sweetie’s turn!
Happy Birthday! =D

Do you know that we had our birthday celebration together when I was 7 and she was 6 since it’s only a week difference? =D

TITANIC IN 3D!

15 Jan

Original movie but in 3D! Waste money to watch? I dont think so.
I did not get to watch it in theatres back then and only started watching last year online.
My hair stands when I’m watching the trailer. HAHA!!

I want to enjoy in the theatre with the big screen, the sound effect and everything.
The 3D better dont destroy the whole movie.

TBB + Pizza Memoirs!

14 Jan

Previously I was talking about the places I wanted to go: LINK!
and I finally get to 2 of the restaurants on my actual birthday for dinner!! =D

The 2 restaurants are actually just located side by side.
(18 Mohammed Sultan Road, The Foundry)

I was so excited! Really excited because they have 21inch pizza which costs $35 only!
It’s a pity we cant try it this time because there’s only 2 of us. Shall order it next time when we visit the place in a group=) They have squid ink pizza too whereby the bread is black due to the squid ink.
Here we are! TBB= The Better Burger and Pizza Memoirs!!! =DDD

Vanilla Milk Shake! Super NICE!!!! Super Vanilla!

Avocado Bacon Chicken Burger! The fries taste great! He loves it=)

Our 12 inch Sweet Dreams pizza! I was kinda attracted to the Fish Bak Kwa on it. The squid ink pizza is spicy=(
The pizza taste yummy, but it will be great if the fish bak kwa is not too soft. I cant really taste much of the fish bak kwa although the pizza itself has a strong smell of bak kwa.
The thickness of the pizza is just nice, neither too thick nor thin.

We were SUPER BLOATED after the meal. I want to go again!
They have this stamp promotion. Spending $20 and you will get a stamp. Get 5 stamps for a free pizza! =D

Thank you for the present=D He made it himself! The flowers, led with a switch=)

Noukou Ramen!

13 Jan

Ajisen is having their Noukou Ramen promotion with double soup! Baobao was so tempted to try! hahaha…

Shoyu Nankotsu Noukou Ramen! and there are lots of fats!!
Baobao commented that the meat tasted like it’s from those canned food.

Shoyu Ika Noukou Ramen! Normal….

Side dishes. We were saying that the baby octopus grew up. The octopuses are kinda bigger in size. HA!

“WOW! Double soup leh!” Actually there’s nothing special. The soup still taste normal.

CurryWok!

12 Jan

CurryWok! It’s a small cosy thai restaurant located at Coronation Arcade. (5 Coronation Road, #01-04 Coronation Arcade)

We got the $7 set meal where you get to choose 3 different dishes and comes with steamed rice.
As it’s a thai restaurant, most of the food are spicy but luckily there are still dishes which are not spicy.

Opps, I didnt know that the vege has curry…
but no worries! The curry is not really spicy=)

The food are really nice. I love the soft veges! =D
This set meal is still considered abit overpriced because there’s only 3 dishes and steamed rice…
Maybe we should try other dishes next time.
