Celebrating Winnie’s birthday!
Dinner at Savor Rey Lamian Xiao Long Bao Restaurant since she wanted Lamian and Xiao Long Bao. Crystal Jade and Imperial Tresure are too common and I found this restaurant when I did some researching on restaurants with Lamian and Xiao Long Bao.
It’s not famous I guess as not many people know about the place and the restaurant. However, there are many good reviews by people who had been there.
It’s near Outram MRT Station.
I love shop houses.
I love delicious food with reasonable and afforadable prices=)
It smells really nice and the soup is super tasty!
Shall try it next time.
Forgot what La Mian is this. It’s spicy.
Sesame Sauce with Cold noodles.
It’s abit like Sesame Sauce Salad with cold noodles. Not for me.
Shanghai Nian Gao with egg yolk.
They love it but I dont like it because I dont really like egg yolk.

I was busy busy busy and busy right after the Valentines’ Day.
Busy with exam which was on 16th then dance practices right after exam.
Met up with Dasers to celebrate Farhan and Boon Kiat’s birthday on Sat.
Brought them to clark quay!
I rarely suggest places. I always suggest when I’m with Baobao, Eggleton or Kelvin and I’ll explore different place with Baobao.
Recommanded Pizza Memoirs since we had so many people to share the 21-inch pizza=)
It’s just 1 month and they’ve changed the name “Pizza Memoirs” to “La Pizza”, and “The Better Burger” to “The Burger Office”.
They’ve changed the menus too, combining the 4 restaurants’ menu and separate to food and drinks menus. Dislike. It’s much more confusing now and not all the food and drinks which they still have, are shown in the menus, example the milkshakes.

We wanted to dine at Caramel Cafe but according to the cafe’s twitter and blog, it’s closed. =(
When we went to check it out, all the pretty cute furnitures are no longer there.
Dining at V8! Luckily we reached early, it became crowded soon and people were queuing for seats.

Prepared a speech for him because I thought it would be better to tell him face to face. In the end, I was so shy and nervous that the whole speech was like quite messy. Shall write on the card next time and say it face to face, then give the card. =)

It’s really tough to study overseas. Money is one thing. Luckily he doesnt have to worry about it as he had planned to study overseas since young and started saving since then.
Another thing, separated from your love ones, your family and friends, to a place where you can only depend on yourself. Scary.

LOS ANGELES – Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music’s queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died Saturday. She was 48.
Beverly Hills police Lt. Mark Rosen told reporters outside the Beverly Hilton that Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. in her room on the fourth floor of the hotel. Her body remained there and Beverly Hills detectives were investigating.
“There were no obvious signs of any criminal intent at this time,” Rosen said.
Houston’s publicist, Kristen Foster, said Saturday that the cause of her death was unknown.
Rosen said police received a 911 call from hotel security about Houston at 3:43 p.m. Saturday. Paramedics who were already at the hotel because of a Grammy party unsuccessfully tried to resuscitate the singer, he said.
Beverly Hills Police Department later issued a statement:”"Whitney Houston was pronounced dead that the scene by members of her entourage which included friends, co-workers, and family. Ms. Houston’s daughter and mother were notified of here death.”
The statement also added that “the investigation is currently being conducted” and that “there is no additional information at this time.”
“The actual cause of death will be determined by the L.A. Co. Coroner’s Office,” it said.
Houston’s death came on the eve of music’s biggest night — the Grammy Awards. It’s a showcase where she once reigned, and her death was sure to cast a heavy pall on Sunday’s ceremony.
Her longtime mentor Clive Davis was to hold his annual concert and dinner Saturday, and a representative of the show said it would proceed.
Houston was supposed to appear at the gala, and Davis had told The Associated Press that she would perhaps perform: “It’s her favorite night of the year … (so) who knows by the end of the evening,” he said.
Producer Jimmy Jam, who had worked with Houston, said he anticipated the evening would become a tribute to her, and he expected there to be one at the Grammys as well.

It’s really a pity to lose such a good singer. I love her voice and the songs sang by her. One of my favourite song and I listen it since young =)

Baobao ordered just a large bowl of fish soup. He said that he ordered the more expensive fish and it’s really nice.
Time to get our main dish! I almost went to buy the carrot cake again. HA! I love the traditional carrot cakes.
Got myself grilled pork chop from PeterPan stall. I like the sauce but Baobao doesnt like it. He finds the it very act like one high-class sauce. HAHAHA!!
He got himself satay beehoon. The queue was very long!
What should I try next time?
Last time, there was a really famous stall, “Happy Wanton Noodle”. Too bad, it’s no longer there anymore=( I saw lots good comments and recommandations! Oh well…
Out to have fun with Eggleton before I start my preparation for exam.

My Teriyaki Chicken burger. I thought it wouldnt be enough for me but I was wrong. I couldnt even finish it. I finished the burger and ate only half of the fries. Did my appetite become smaller?

Prefer the Happy Hours package as it’s cheaper=) Crazily playing for 4hours! Dancing, shaking and screaming sometimes. I dont think other people will even hear the scream because it’s considered quite noisy inside. We dont scream in very high pitch or very loud anyway. We can dance like there’s nobody everytime=D
Dinner at Saizeriya with Kelvin joining us after Playnation. I wanted to go Pizza Memoirs, but he just refused to go. I was talking about Pizza Memoirs all along during the planning and he thought I was talking about Saizeriya all along. We were talking about different places from the start and only realised it when he entered Liang Court and I was like “Where are you going?”. ahhaha
Anyway, glad that we did not go to Pizza Memoirs as Kelvin had a small appetite, my appetite became smaller already and Eggeleton was having a headache, unable to eat anything at the moment.
Table 22 again. We had table 22 when we were at the Japanese Coffee House too.
Kelvin went off to meet his friends after dinner while Eggleton and I went to Prizestage at PlazaSing for the Spin Wheel event at 10pm then to the Prizestage at Marina Square for Spin Wheel event at 11pm.
He caught me a pair of Miffy and a wizard bear=)
Unable to catch the last bus.
We ended up taking train to Douby Ghaut and took bus to clementi before cabbing home.
It’s a really long day, long fun day.
Time to get back to serious study=)
Last day of work!
Great farewell dinner at Hong Kong Streats! My 2nd time dining there.
First time was with Ah Shawn and now with my department’s colleaugues! Thank you Eileen and Khai for the treat=)
A little gossips and sharing about a scary person in the office who points finger at others and always flatter the boss. I should have noticed it if I were more observant.
I wanted to try since last year!

Actually all of us didnt know that when’s Grandma birthday because whenever we ask her about it, her answer is always dont know and shall mark 1st of january as her birthday.
Mummy said that for Grandma’s generation, their birth dates are not stated on their IC.
Anyway, since Grandma wants a birthday dinner, we shall have one! and I heard that this is Grandma’s FIRST birthday cake! =)
Ordered 3 crabs, black pepper, salted egg and spicy one.
The only crab that I’ve eaten is crabmeat and I dont know how to eat the real big crab. I was kinda forced to eat and everybody was like watching the way I eat. In the end, Daddy and Mummy helped me with it=) without teaching me…..
I was asking for a solo photo of Grandma and I noticed that she always take photo with this expression.
NO! Cannot! and I said that I want to see teeth. “Smile with teeth then pretty! =)” haha.
