Canton Paradise @ JCube!

 

Visited JCube on Monday after work and dined at Canton Restaurant.

We wanted to eat at 台湾小吃 initially but the queue was really long. So, we checked out other places, got a number from Canton Restaurant and told that it would take about 15-20 minutes. We didnt really want to wait that long and went to checked out other restaurants again.

Kungfu Paradise! We were told that we would have to wait about 20 minutes. The group of 4 who were queuing behind us got in. Come on! There were only 2 of us. So hard to get a table and 2 chairs?

We returned to Canton Restaurant and entered soon after we had reached.

Noodles!
We like the noodles more than the dumplings.

Dough Fritters in the Chee Chong Fan’s skin.

The food taste quite normal only.
Nothing really special about the dough fritters in Chee Chong Fan’s skin besides its appearance.
I would like to try the dimsums instead because Baobao tried the Hong BBQ Pork bun previously and said that it’s really nice. =)

Went to find Vivian, Soon Song and Jing Hang after meal. Time for dessert at Gelateria Italia!
Hazelnut with _____mos Cookies. I dont know what is the name because of the font. I saw only ‘mos’ at the back. HA!
It’s nice, but extremely sweet. I think it tastes nice when I tried 1 mouth, but it got sweeter after a few mouth of it. Didnt want to finish it…

It’s May, and I think it’s my turn to change phone! =D
I want to get a phone with good camera, can surf net and have Twitter which allows me to take photos and post it on Twitter.
The lousy phone I currently has, doesnt allow me to post photos and I have to grab Baobao’s phone every time to take pictures and post it on Twitter. =(

 

Belated 1st Year Anniversary!

It’s a super belated celebration. The actual day happened fall during this exam period and he had to concentrate on his exams.
Finally, his exams ended yesterday, after 9 days and we decided to celebrate today, since it’s a public holiday, no work.

The container is terribly ugly, I wrapped it up. HA! my ugly wrapping.

I had actually planned on the places for lunch and dinner but it was a failed plan because I didnt know the restaurant is closed on the public holiday. I’ve checked in the net, but……forget it…
Brought him to Togi since I have not brought him to the restaurant yet. Somehow the food tasted quite normal today.

We didnt know what to do after lunch. All the movies are full for the whole afternoon! We seldom go out for shopping and etc unless we are with friends. Normally, we stay at home to watch shows together or go out to try cheap delicious food recommanded by food bloggers.

So, we decided to go home to watch shows and have homecooked food. =D
Had a simple happy day=)

Buying Online

This is my first item bought from online! Actually it was my boss who started it.
He wanted to buy this wireless mouse and he gather more people to buy so that everyone can share the shipping cost together.

I’ve just shopped for clothes with Eggleton yesterday night using his paypal and I bought 2 dress and 2 suits. =)
First time shopping online. WOOOOO, hope they look as nice as what I see from the net. =))
It’s better to shop with friends unless you’re buying a bulk.

Shall try shopping MYSELF next time. =)

Girls’ Outing @ Fullhouse Singapore

Met up with the girls right after work and dined in Fullhouse Singapore in Rendezvous Hotel.
It’s a cosy place with cute picture frames on the wall in the “living room” and there’s even a “bedroom”.

Estee, Rebecca and I happened to order the same dish, Fillet with Wedges together. haha, so estee changed her dish to Chicken Cutlet and I changed mine to BBQ Chicken Chop with Raisins. =)

As usual, we settled at the nearest Starbucks after meal to carry on with our girls’ conversations. =)

Dickson’s 21st!

Eileen secretly planned this surprise celebration for Dickson. Dickson’s aunt and 2 little cousins came too. =)
Indeed, it was a success. Dickson was really surprised! He even thought he wouldnt be celebrating his 21st birthday with us! hahahaha…

Wei Liong and Ligeng were surprised by my dressing too. hahaha. They said that I was totally dressed up. Infact, I did not really dress up much. I just tied my hair, wore simple dress and a pair of heels. =)
I did not even put on makeup and wear accessories. HA! I think maybe it’s because of my high heels and I dont normally dress up unless I’m told to do so.

Luckily I brought a jacket along because it was damn cold!

After that, we moved to the smaller room to carry on with our K, Shumin and Raymond came to join later.
Everybody was singing, dancing and laughing crazily!

It all started when Raymond asked me to get him nuggets because he couldnt reach it, and feed him

He was like “cannot block her face”, “cannot, her hands must be high but cannot cover face”, “can you take a more handsome picture of me?” and “do you think I’m handsome in this photo?” HAHAHAHA!!

Playing and loser will have to drink beer. EEEK, I dont like beer.
I like only screwdriver. =)
I always drink alcoholic drinks/beer very slowly because I dont like the taste, except for screwdriver.

I was told to drink the beer quickly and it was so uncomfortable. The gas burpped out not only from my mouth, but from my nose too.
I rather drink the alcoholic drink given to me, mixed by Dickson.

Great K-ing session and HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO DICKSON! Hope he really enjoyed. =)

JCube

Visited Jurong East’s new opened shopping mall, JCube.
Settled down at Ginza Bairin for dinner because they have the promotion. (below)

 

The soup is tasty and we love the egg. =)

Was checking out the new mall and Baobao was tempted by this BBQ Honey Prok Bun from Canton Paradise.
1 for $1.50 and he said that it’s really nice. The outer part looks soft, in fact, it’s very crispy. Looks delicious right?=)
Got the restaurant menu from a waiter to check out the types of food and the prices. The prok bun is good, so I guess that restaurant’s food will be good too? =) The prices are reasonable. Shall try it next time. =)

Ice skating is here at Jurong east again! I’ve never ice skate before and I want to try it one day, but the price is not really attractive.
People always say that if you know roller blading, you will know ice skating. I know roller blading! =) and would like to try apply the same techniques on ice skating to see if it’s true. =)
